DESCRIPTION:

Poznan flour type 500 is extremely popular in traditional Polish cuisine. Not without reason. Its versatility and excellent baking properties mean that it is used in many classic delicacies. Poznanian flour 500 is widely used in traditional cuisine for good reason. As a medium-ground wheat flour, it is slightly less intensely white than flours of lower types (e.g. cake flour type 450), but is more nutritious. It is also, in turn, lighter in colour than flours of higher types (e.g. type 750 or 2000). Due to the fact that Poznan flour is characterised by high glutinosity, it guarantees success in the preparation of traditional dishes such as dumplings, noodles, potato dumplings, as well as baked goods such as bread, rolls or classic pizza bottoms. Thanks to the medium milling grade, Poznan flour type 500 also has an excellent texture, which contributes to the softness and fluffiness of baked goods. It is also worth noting that Mazowiecka poznańska flour is produced from selected wheat grains, which guarantees high quality of baked goods.
