Ingredients:

• 100 g margarine
  
• 100 g sugar
  
• 2 eggs
• 100 ml milk
  
• 100 g dessert chocolate
  
• 150 g flour
  
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
  

Preparation:

1. Place the milk, sugar and margarine in a saucepan and heat slowly over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved and all the ingredients are combined.
2. Add the chocolate and continue to heat until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is a creamy, thick glaze. Set aside to cool.
3. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Add the egg yolks to the chocolate mixture and whisk the egg whites into a stiff foam. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture, using a spoon.
4. Pour the mixture into the cake tin lined with baking paper. Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
5. When ready, decorate the cake with chocolate glaze or candied orange peel.
